LICENSING FEE STRUCTURE and BENEFITS

Understanding RISHI’S reason for licensing fee and copyright agreement:

Since the Remen Institute for the Study of Health and Illness (RISHI) began 25 years ago, over 20,000 medical students have completed The Healer’s Art course.  Thousands of doctors and other health professionals have renewed and revitalized their calling and commitment to the core values of their work in Finding Meaning in Medicine groups and the thousands of presentations and training workshops were offered by RISHI.  Like an old tree, RISHI will continue to grow and produce nourishing fruit despite its age.  However, it will not continue to succeed without your support!

It is time for us to think not only of expanding our programs of service, but also of ensuring that RISHI itself will continue to strengthen all health professionals in their commitment to the integrity of their work well into the future.

Creating a fee structure that will secure this mission requires partners who are skilled in this outcome and resources beyond those necessary to simply create and implement programs.  These resources far exceed our own, so we must implement a fee structure.

License Agreement and Structure

The Remen Institute for the Study of Health and Illness permits its Licensee to use the copyrighted material (Asset) for the purposes of health professional education at the institution you represent, provided that the Licensee takes all necessary steps and imposes the necessary conditions to ensure that its participants using the Asset do not commercialize or disclose the contents of it to any third person, or use it other than in accordance with the terms of the Agreement.
